Who We Are

About Us

GTA Foundation (GF) is a not for profit organization committed to working with multiple stakeholders and communities irrespective of race, caste, gender, faith. It is established in 2019 registered at Office of Company Registrar, Nepal with the registration number of 231618/76/77. It is the sister organization of the Group for Technical Assistance. The foundation is a progressive, transparent, responsible, accountable, and impact-oriented institution, managed and governed by a team of professionals.

What We Do?

Our program interventions cover all the provinces of Nepal to improve the socio-economic conditions and health status of community people. The GTA Foundation desires to conduct development work in collaboration with strategic partners around the globe. The Foundation aims to become a platform to improve socio-economic opportunities and health.

Our Guiding Principles

The foundation aims to work in partnership with stakeholders for sustainable development based on equality, transparency, justice, humanity and accountability. The foundation and the team are not affiliated with any political ideology.

Human Resources

GTA Foundation has well documented staﬀ policy, guideline and manuals that are updated as required. The foundation has highly professional staff and a pool of experts.

Communication

The foundation organizes the meetings to share the progress updates regularly among staff and stakeholders. The Executive Board meets regularly and documents the decisions. The foundation actively coordinates with other stakeholders through networking, dissemination meetings, experience sharing and publications.

Quality

GTA Foundation delivers the highest quality program and research work as well as follow the robust processes and practices to manage these activities. Our team regularly conducts the monitoring and evaluation of the program and its management. We fully engage the target groups and stakeholders during the development and implementation of programs.

Governance

GTA Foundation has a seven-member executive board with experts from different areas and contributed long in the communities.

Finance and Compliance

The GTA Foundation has placed financial management policies, manuals and systems. We have qualified internal auditors and conduct annual external audits.

Our Priority Areas

Social Development

GTA Foundation has committed experts to conduct the activities on health, nutrition, skills development, education programs, and social protection programs. Some key interventions under this priority area are:

Environment

GTA Foundation aims to create awareness and strengthen capacities to promote and protect the environment and reduce the effects of climate change. GTA Foundation supports green solutions and environment friendly practices in every aspect of its program. The foundation will mainly work on the following key areas:

Economic Empowerment

The foundation had a team of experts and program developers under this theme. We design the program to improve the economic conditions of the selected communities by improving their quality of life. GTA Foundation will develop sustainable models to empower the community people. Economic development maintains its focus on creating partnerships at the community level. It increases the financial status that supports access to health, nutrition and education services.
